Despite my (feminist) misgivings, this is a lovely film, superbly acted by the gorgeous Ms. Tautou. And speaking of gorgeous, what about this poster! It's quite different from the more period poster in my review, but I find the androgyny of this one particularly striking.

I was terribly terribly disappointed.

@Kate I'll be really interested to hear what you think about this film.
@Kipstar As I said in my review, I feel for some the film ends just where you'd like it to begin (i.e. with the beautiful clothes!!), so I can understand being disappointed with regards to that. As an origin story, however, I think they did well. I definitely left hankering for more though - perhaps we could persuade them to do a sequel!
