This morning I awoke to the sad news that Farrah Fawcett had passed away. One can only hope her long, brave and very public battle with the rectal cancer will raise more awareness about the disease. She was 62.
Then news attention was very quickly diverted to the sudden death of Michael Jackson. At 50 years old, the 'King of Pop' appears to have succumbed to a heart attack.
Much has already been written about these two sad announcements, so I'll just suggest you take a little time today to flick your hair and dance around to some Jackson tunes.
Rest in Peace.
