Friday September 21: Geoffrey Wright & Romper Stomper, 20 years on.To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the controversial and highly original Australian film Romper Stomper(which has been been re-mastered and will be released on Blu-ray on October 3) we will revisit this grounbreaking piece of cinema with writer/director Geoffrey Wright. Geoffrey will discuss the impact of Romper Stomper, a film that pushed both him and the film's then young star Russell Crowe into the international spotlight and his penchant for creating dark & gritty films including Metal Skin, Cherry Falls and the Australian production of Macbeth starring Sam Worthington.
