Alice Tynan is a freelance writer and award winning film critic who works across TV, radio, and print. 

She writes regularly for Limelight MagazineTheVine, and The Big Issue, as well as being invited to contribute to The Guardian, and reviewing on 702 ABC Sydney for both Linda Mottram and Richard Glover. Alice is also the co-host of the Australian Film Television and Radio School’s Friday on My Mind programme, where she interviews the best and brightest of the broadcast industry. 

Alice has reviewed films internationally, appearing on the Slate Spoiler Special with Dana Stevens, as well as Francine Stock's marvellous The Film Programme on BBC Radio 4. While on the homefront, Alice has had the honour of hosting Closing Night of the Sydney Film Festival in 2012 and 2013.

In November 2012, Alice launched the Spoiler Guys Podcast: a no-holds barred weekly film review podcast with fellow film critics Marc Fennell and Giles Hardie. The Spoiler Guys have topped the iTunes Australia list of TV & Film podcasts, and have garnered over 145,000 followers on Soundcloud.

Alice has twice won an Australian Film Critics Association film writing award.
